Why So Judgmental?

For my advertising unit at uni I had to create an ad campaign for a chosen charity. I chose a local animal shelter (Pets Haven ) and created a mock up for a viral video.

The ‘Critical Dogs’ premise aims to change the perception of shelter animals (that they’re “damaged goods”; they’re at the shelter on account of something they did wrong), and generate traffic to the Pets Haven website. Basically the dogs are being judgemental of the potential owners coming through the shelter, a statement on how prospective pet owners criticise shelter animals. The viral video ties in with promotional ads I also had to develop, along with an interactive ‘random insult generator’, which I didn’t have to actually create, just conceptualise.

Just gonna make a point that these ads are actually not affiliated in any way with Pets Haven, they were just created for an assignment
